Brisbane Taxis

Yellow Cabs (131 924) and Black and White Cabs (131 008) are the two officially recognised services for Brisbane and surrounding areas.

They both operate on a 24 hour basis and their fleets include normal sedans which can take up to 4 passengers and Maxi Taxi’s which carry up to 10 people.

There are taxi ranks located through the Brisbane CBD as well as at other popular areas like shopping centres and cafe strips. You can also call the taxi companies directly and they’ll pick you up from your address or you can hail a taxi from the side of the road. You can also order taxis online and via SMS.
